  If your Toro Lawn Mower is leaving lines of uncut or badly cut grass in the direction of travel, consider the following possible causes and solutions: * Tram lining of the cutting edges due to heavy contact caused by poor reel-to-bedknife adjustment. Back lap or grind the edges. * The bedknife is in contact with the ground. Raise the height of cut. * The bedknife has a nose-down angle. Adjust the cutting unit to position the bedknife parallel to the ground. * The cutting units are bouncing. Reduce the forward speed and reduce the weight transfer. * Worn reel bearings/bearing housing pivots. Replace any worn parts. * Loose components in the cutting unit. Check and tighten components as necessary.

  If your Toro Lawn Mower's engine doesn't start when using the ignition key, it could be due to several reasons: * The transmission neutral interlock switch may not be energized. Ensure your foot is removed from the forward/reverse pedals or check the setting of the transmission neutral interlock switch. * The parking brake interlock switch might not be activated. Move the parking brake switch to the on position. * The cutting unit drive interlock switch could be the issue. Move the cutting unit switch to the off position. * There may be a malfunctioning electrical connection. In this case, you'll need to locate and correct the fault in the electrical system.

Why are there some uncut strands of grass after mowing with my Toro LT3340?

  If you notice uncut or poorly cut strands of grass after mowing with your Toro Lawn Mower, it could be because the cutting cylinder is partially or heavily out of contact with the bottom blade, the height of cut is too high, or the cutting edges of the cutting cylinders/bottom blades are rounded. Try readjusting the cutting cylinder to the bottom blade, lower the height of cut setting, or back lap or regrind to restore the cutting edges.
