totightenthescrews.
Important:Donotovertightenthescrews;
otherwiseyoumaydamagethedischargechuteand
preventitfromturningfreely.

FillingtheEnginewithOil
NoPartsRequired
Procedure
Yourmachinedoesnotcomewithoilintheengine,but
itdoescomewithabottleofoil.
Important:Beforestartingtheengine,llthe
enginewithoil.
Note:Thebottleofoilmaycontainmorethanis
required.Donotoverllorunderlltheengine.
Maxll:20oz.(0.6l),type:automotivedetergentoil
withanAPIserviceclassicationofSJ,SL,orhigher.
Use
Figure8belowtoselectthebestoilviscosityforthe
outdoortemperaturerangeexpected:

1.Movethemachinetoalevelsurface.
2.Cleanaroundtheoilllcap(Figure9).

3.Unscrewtheoilllcapandremoveit.
4.Withthemachineintheoperatingposition,
carefullypouroilintothecrankcaseuntilthepoint
ofoverow.
5.Wait3minutesfortheoiltosettleandaddenough
tobringittothepointofoverow .
6.Screwtheoilllcapintotheoilllholeandtighten
itsecurely.
