PreparingforMaintenance
1.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Disconnectthesparkplugwirefromthesparkplug
(Figure14)beforeperforminganymaintenance
procedure.

3.Afterperformingthemaintenanceprocedure(s),
connectthesparkplugwiretothesparkplug.
Important:Beforetippingthemowertochange
theoilorreplacetheblade,allowthefueltankto
rundrythroughnormalusage.Ifyoumusttipthe
mowerpriortorunningoutoffuel,useahandfuel
pumptoremovethefuel.Alwaystipthemower
ontoitsside,withtheairlterup.

Tippingthemowermaycausethefueltoleak.
Gasolineisammable,explosiveandcan

Runtheenginedryorremovethegasoline
withahandpump;neversiphon.
