Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatorsposition.Allowthemachinetocool
beforeservicing,adjusting,fueling,cleaning,or
storingit.
Cleangrassanddebrisfromthecuttingunit,
mufer,drives,grasscatcher,andengine
compartmenttohelppreventres.Cleanupoilor
fuelspills.
Shutoffthefuelandremovethekeybeforestoring
ortransportingthemachine.
PushingtheMachineby
Hand
Important:Alwayspushthemachinebyhand.
Donottowthemachine,becausetowingmay
damageit.
Thismachinehasanelectric-brakemechanism,
andtopushthemachine,thekeymustbeinthe
RUNposition.Thebatteryneedstobechargedand
functioningtodisengagetheelectricbrake.
PushingtheMachine
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch,andmovethe
motion-controlleversoutwardtothePARK
position.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Locatethebypassleversontheframeonboth
sidesoftheengine.
4.Movethebypassleversforwardthroughthekey
holeanddowntolocktheminplace(Figure27).
Note:Dothisforeachlever.
WARNING
Contactwithhotsurfacesmaycause
personalinjury.
Keepyourhands,feet,face,clothing
andotherbodypartsawaytheengine,
muferandotherhotsurfaces.
5.Turntheignitionkeyonanddisengagethe
parkingbrakebymoving1motion-controllever
outofthePARKposition.
