Theparkingbrakeisactivatedelectronically.
Engagetheparkingbrakebyoneofthefollowingactions:
PressingtheSmartPark
switchtotheOnposition
(Figure5).
Theparkingbrakeengagesautomaticallywhenthe
operatorleavestheseatandthetractioncontrolpedalis
intheneutralposition.
Theparkingbrakeautomaticallyengages5to6seconds
aftertheignitionswitchisturnedtotheOffposition(if
notalreadyengaged).
Disengagetheparkingbrakebyoneofthefollowingactions:
Tapthetraction-controlpedalforwardorreverse.
PressingthebrakeswitchtotheOffposition(Figure5).
OperatingtheBlades
Thebladecontrolswitch,representedbyapowertake-off
(PTO)symbol,engagesanddisengagespowertothemower
blades.Thisswitchcontrolspowertoanyattachmentsthat
drawpowerfromtheengine,includingthemowerdeckand
cuttingblades.
EngagingtheBlades
Important:Donotengagethebladeswhenparkedin
tallgrass.Beltorclutchdamagecanoccur.
Note:Alwaysengagethebladeswiththethrottleinthe
Fastposition.
