Thesteeringwheelhas3positionsforoperationandone,
full-upposition.Usethefull-uppositionforsteppingonand
offthemachineandgettingoutoftheseat.Whenoperating
themachine,positionthesteeringwheelwhereyouhavethe
bestcontrolofthemachineandaremostcomfortable.
1.Pressyourfootontothesteering-columnreleaselever.
2.Positionthesteeringwheeltothedesiredposition
(Figure16).

Wheneveryouchangetheheight-of-cut,itisrecommended
toadjusttheheightoftheanti-scalprollers.
Note:Adjusttheanti-scalprollerssotherollersdonottouch
thegroundinnormal,atmowingareas.
1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO)andensure
theparkingbrakeisengaged.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Adjusttheanti-scalprollerstooneofthefollowing
positions:
Upperhole—usethispositionwiththemower
deckinthe63mm(2-1/2inches)andbelowthe
height-of-cutpositions(Figure17).
Lowerhole—usethispositionwiththemower
deckinthe76mm(3inches)andabovethe
height-of-cutpositions(Figure17).
