Important:Donotovertightentheadjustingbolt.
Thiscoulddamagetheblade-drivebelt.

.Ifyoudonothaveatorquewrenchor
areuncomfortableperformingthisprocedure,contact
anAuthorizedServiceDealer.
Examinethebladesforsharpnessandanywearordamage
wheneveryourunoutofgasoline;refertoInspectingthe
Blades(page22).Ifthebladeedgeisdullornicked,haveit
sharpenedorreplaceit.Ifthebladeisworn,bent,damaged
orcracked,replaceitimmediatelywithagenuineToro
replacementblade.
DANGER
Awornordamagedbladecanbreak,andapiece
ofthebladecouldbethrowntowardtheoperator
orabystander,resultinginseriouspersonalinjury
ordeath.
Inspectthebladesperiodicallyforwearor
damage.
Replaceawornordamagedblade.
Note:Maintainsharpbladesthroughoutthecuttingseason,
becausesharpbladescutcleanlywithouttearingorshredding
thegrassblades.Tearingandshreddingturnsgrassbrownat
theedges,whichslowsgrowthandincreasesthechanceof
disease.
