Neveroperatethemachineunlessyouinstallacover
plate,amulchplate,agrassdeector,orabagger.
1.Removethelocknut,bolt,spring,andspacerholding
thedeectortothepivotbrackets(Figure98).Remove
thedamagedorworngrassdeector.

positionandensurethatitrotatesintothefull
downposition.

1.Disengagethebladecontrolswitch(PTO),movethe
motioncontrolleverstotheneutrallockedposition
andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Raisethemowertothetransportposition.
WasteDisposal
Engineoil,batteries,hydraulicoil,andenginecoolantare
pollutantstotheenvironment.Disposeoftheseaccordingto
yourstateandlocalregulations.
