Setting the timer to turn on the TV
You can set the on timer to turn on the TV to a preset
channel or input at a preset time.
To activate the timer:

> Settings > APPLICATIONS > On Timer > .
(Another: > Timer > On Timer > .)

Press p or q to select Enable On Timer.

Press t or u to select On.
Note: If the Enable On Timer is set to Off, other menus
under On Timer cannot be changed.
To set the timer:

> Settings > APPLICATIONS > On Timer > .

Set these options to your preference:
Item Description
Input Video input source.
Channel Channel to view.
Volume Volume level.
Time until
Power On
Desired length of time until the TV
turns on.
minimum= 00:10, maximum= 12:00
•Press t or u.
•Usethenumberbuttons.

Select Done. Press .
Note: If you do not operate the TV for 1 hour after it is
powered on by the On Timer feature, it turns off.
To cancel the timer:

> Settings > APPLICATIONS > On Timer > .

Press p or q to select Enable On Timer.

Setting the sleep timer
You can set the TV to turn off after a specific amount
of time (maximum = 12 hours).
Using the remote control:

Set the time until the TV turns off.

Repeatedly press to increase the time.
• Press p or q to increase or decrease the time.
Using the onscreen menus:

> Settings > APPLICATIONS > Sleep Timer.
(Another: > Timer > Sleep Timer > .)

Enter the time until the TV turns off.
• Use the number buttons.
• Press t or u to increase or decrease the time.
Note: If a power failure occurs, the sleep timer
setting may be cleared.
To display the time remaining until the TV turns off:
Press .
To cancel the sleep timer:
Press repeatedly or press p or q until it is set to 0
minutes.
