LED
HEAD
Clean the LED array whenever a new toner cartridge is installed or if there are faded vertical
areas or light printing down a page.
There is no need to switch off the printer to clean the lens.
1. Press the top cover release button and open the printer’s top cover fully.
2. Gently wipe the LED head surface with a clean, lint free cloth.
3. Close the top cover and press it down to latch it closed.
CAUTION!
Do not use methyl alcohol or other solvents on the LED head as
damage to the lens surface will occur.
