5. Disconnect the cable connecting to the motherboard and remove the keyboard.

Installing the Hinge Cover and Keyboard
Install the hinge cover and keyboard according to the following procedures.
1. Attach the cable from the underside of the keyboard to the connector on the motherboard
assembly.
2. Seat the keyboard in its correct position making sure the four hooks on either side are
fastened.
3. Seat the keyboard cover in the correct position and firmly click into place.
4. Open the laptop.
5. Seat the hinge cover in the correct position and firmly click into place.
6. Close the laptop.
7. Turn the laptop upside down. Secure the hinge cover with three M2.5x4 screws. Secure
the keyboard with one M2.5x4 and one M2.5x6 screws.
