4.17 RTC battery
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
Dispose of used batteries according to the laws and ordinances of your local
authority.
Removing the RTC battery
The following describes the procedure for removing the RTC battery. (See Figure 4-28.)
1. Disconnect the RTC battery cable from the connector CN9300 on the
system board.
2. Peel off the insulator and remove the RTC battery from the slot.
