4.3 Battery pack
Removing the Battery pack
To remove the battery pack, confirm that the computer is shut down. Then follow the steps
below and refer to Figure 4-4 and 4-5.
CAUTION: When handling battery pack, be careful not to short circuit the terminals.
Also do not drop, hit or apply impact, do not scratch, break, twist or bend
the battery pack.
1. Turn off the power of the computer.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter and other external devices from the computer.
3. Turn over the computer.
4. Peel off the bottom cap.
5. Remove the following screws and the base assembly.
• M2.5×4B TORX screw ×1 (Described as “4T” in the figure)
• M2.5×4B FLAT HEAD screw ×11 (Described as “4” in the figure)
• M2.5×10B FLAT HEAD screw ×2 (Described as “10” in the figure)
