Installing the Fin
To install the fin, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-14.
1. When silicon grease is already applied to the CPU, wipe them off with a cloth in
advance.
2. Apply new grease (Shin-Etsu Chemical Co. X-23-7921-5) on the CPU using a
special syringe as shown in the following figure.
NOTE: Apply new grease as shown in the figure below.
3. Set the fin in place and secure it with the following screws.
• M2×3.5C BIND ×2
NOTE: When securing the fin, be sure to secure the screws in the order of the number
marked on the fin.
