  If the air from your Toshiba Air Conditioner doesn't feel cold enough, consider the following: * Cooling may not occur until the room temperature rises above 62°F (17°C) if the room temperature is below this. * Straighten the temperature sensing element tube away from the cold coil located behind the air filter if it's touching it. * Reset to a lower temperature. * If the compressor shut off by changing modes, wait approximately 3 minutes and listen for the compressor to restart when set in the COOL mode.
