Recording
To play a recorded title while recording another
on the same disc (Recorded Title Play)

During recording, you can play a title recorded on the
same disc.
1) While recording, press CONTENT MENU.
2) Press / / / to select a desired title, then
press the ENTER.
Playback of the selected title starts.
Pressing the STOP button stops playback, and the
content currently recorded returns. If you press the
PLAY button, playback resumes from the location
you last stopped.
Notes
• The playback picture may appear after a delay of several
seconds.
• While you are using this function, the following operations/
functions are not available.
- Programmed playback (repeat playback, intro scan etc.)
- Editing (Playlist programming, dubbing, title/chapter
naming, title thumbnail setting, etc.)
• This function is not available at a 10 minutes overlapped
portion of the relay recording or A-B recording ( page
50).
• Depending on the data condition, playback may pause.
• During a dubbing job, this function is not available.
When recording contents which will be copied
to a DVD-RW/R disc later on
Before recording, set “DVD compatible mode”
(
page 162) to “On”.
Each timer program must to be set its “DVD
compatible mode” from the Quick Menu.
