WARNING!
NEVER deep fry or pressure fry in the unit with oil. It is dangerous and may
cause re or serious damage.
Tip For Handling The Express Pot:
• Please move the product with the handle of the cooker body.
Filling The Express Pot:
To ll the inner pot, please use the corresponding measurements located inside the pot.
• The 1 to 10 Cup Scale is for uid level corresponding to rice cups.
• The 1 to 5 scale is for the ll levels to cook different food types.
• CAUTION! Never ll the unit over MAX level (2/3 full). When cooking foods that expand
during cooking such as rice or dried vegetables, DO NOT ll above the halfway point.
Over lling may cause a risk of clogging the vent pipe and developing excess pressure.
• CAUTION! Be aware that certain food, such as apple sauce, cranberries, pearl barley,
oatmeal or other cereals, split peas, noodles, macaroni, rhubarb, or spaghetti can foam,
froth, and sputter, and clog the pressure release device (steam vents). These foods
should only be cooked in a pressure cooker with caution and with the inner pot NO
more than ½ full. Always use a natural release for these foods.
Opening And Closing The Express Pot:
To open the lid:
1. Hold the handle and turn it anti-clockwise until the
mark on the upper cover’s edge is
aimed at the
mark on the housing cover’s edge.
2. Lift the upper cover.
• Check if the parts and accessories are properly installed within the lid.
• Check that the oater valve and exhaust valve are not jammed. Conrm that the seal
ring and block proof cover are properly installed.
Note: If replacement is needed, please call the Customer Support Team.
Note:
When removing the lid, it will pull up the inner pot if it’s lled with heavy food. If the
inner pot has lighter food, the lid will partially lift the pot as you remove it. If the two sections
become stuck, move the lid until the inner pot and lid separate.
WARNING! DO NOT
open before the pressure in the pot has been completely released.
If the lid is difcult to open
DO NOT
open it.
