Maintaining The Inner Pot:
The inner pot is for cooking all of your ingredients in the Express Pot. Please follow the
instructions below to properly use and maintain the inner pot.
1. The inner pot may develop a yellowish colour and spots if it is empty for a long period
of time.
Note: The inner pot has a smooth and polished surface before use. After using for a long
period, the surface may show a normal signs of use after it has been washed. This is normal
and won’t inuence the function of the product.
2. Do not use the inner pot to store acid, alkali and preserved foods for a long period of
time. - Although the inner pot has excellent anti-corrosion performance, it may cause
corrosion of certain degree. The suggested time to keep food warm should be not
exceed two hours.
3. Keep it clean to prolong the life of the product. – Do not immerse the inner pot in water
for a long period of time.
4. Clean the inner pot with soap, a weak detergent or warm water to remove dust, oil and
dirt.
5. Do not scratch it with steel utensils. – Soften the burnt foods on the bottom with water
and then remove it.
Tip: Before putting the inner pot back into the cooker; please remove the dirt and water from
the external side of the inner pot and internal side of the external pot.
Cleaning The Sealing Gate And Water Box:
Sealing gate: Please remove oil and dirt
from the sealing gate with detergent and a
brush. Any remaining oil and dirt may appear
yellowish colour. After washing, it may recover
to its original colour. It is suggested to clean
the sealing gate once every 2 months.

Water Box: After cooking, steam may stay in the
water box of the external pot as water. Water
in the box should be removed for avoiding
bad odours. Please clean it with a clean cloth.

Storage
• To store your appliance:
• Unplug power cord from the power outlet and clean as above.
• Allow the appliance to dry fully.
• Store on a at, dry level surface out of reach of children.
• Keep the Express Pot at about 30cm away from other kitchen appliances.
