PIN Management (for 3G/4G Router Mode)
While Deco works in 3G/4G Router mode, a SIM card is inserted to it for internet access. To protect your SIM card from embezzlement, PIN
Management is available in the Deco app. When enabled, PIN code is required when you reboot the Deco or reinsert the SIM card to it.
Note: This feature is available only when your Deco works in 3G/4G Router mode, but is not available when Deco works in 3G/4G Router mode and being remotely controlled from the Deco app.
1. Tap > Advanced > PIN Management.
*The app screen depicted is for 3G/4G Router mode only and may dier when Deco works in dierent modes.
2. Enable PIN Code and set a PIN code for SIM card unlock. Then the PIN code
is required every time you reboot the Deco or reinsert the SIM card to it.
Note: If you enter the wrong PIN code too many times, your SIM card will be automatically locked. Contact
your carrier for help if your SIM card is locked.
