5.2 Connecting belt grab and harness
Separate connection
Fig. 10 shows the application with an approved
harness with two separate D-rings.
The fall arrest (A) is connected to the D-ring at
chest level, and the belt grab (B) at the D-ring at
waist level. This application guarantees for the
most effective support of a comfortable ascent.
5.3 Removing the belt grab
Open the belt grab as described above, and
remove it from the round belt. In case the black
lever cannot be moved by hand, first slide the belt
grab a little bit upwards to enable the clamping jaw
teeth to release from the belt.
