INSTALLATION CHECKLIST
CCUH Trane Condenserless Chiller
This list must be checked off by the installer to ensure correct installation before the unit starts up.
Unit acceptance
q Check for damage, if any, on transportation
q Check for equipment shipped against delivery slip
q Check lifting system
Unit positioning
q Remove packaging
q Check position of unit
q Check unit is level
q Check clearance required for maintenance access
q Check position of rubber pads
Chilled water circuit
q Check thermometer and manometer presence and positioning
q Check chilled water flow rate balancing system
q Check presence of strainer ahead of evaporator
q Check the tightness of the water circuit
q Check rinsing and filling of chilled water pipes
q Check pump operation and water flow
Electrical equipment
q Check installation and rating of mains power switch/fuses
q Check that electrical connections comply with specification
q Check that electrical connections are in accordance with information on manufacturer’s identification plate
q Check direction of rotation of compressors
q Check chilled water pump drive rotation
q Check electrical connections and connections to mains power switch
General
q Check available cooling charge (50% of rated installation load)
q Check with other trades handling installation works
