      If your Trane Thermostat isn't activating the heating or cooling, here are a few things you can check: * First, make sure the SYSTEM switch on the thermostat is set to either Heat or Cool. * Check your circuit breaker to see if it has tripped; if so, reset it. * Inspect the fuse to see if it's blown; if it is, replace it. * Ensure there is air movement at the register. * Verify that the heating or cooling equipment is receiving power.
