How to fix a Trane TAYSTAT 340 display that won't turn on?

If the display on your Trane Thermostat won't turn on, there are several things you can check. First, make sure the thermostat is properly mounted and latched on the wallplate. Second, verify that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped and reset it if necessary. Also, check the fuse and replace it if it's blown. Finally, ensure the system switch is set to either Heat or Cool, not Off, to provide power to the thermostat.
