Overview

The TREBLAB HD-Max is a portable wireless speaker designed to provide superior sound quality and mobility, combined with rugged construction and the convenience of hands-free wireless operation.

Function Description:

The HD-Max speaker offers a wide range of functions for audio playback, call management, and power bank capabilities.

  • Power ON/OFF: Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds.
  • Play/Pause: Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
  • Volume Control: Press VOLUME + to increase volume, VOLUME - to decrease.
  • Track Navigation: Press and hold VOLUME - for 2 seconds for the previous track; press and hold VOLUME + for 2 seconds for the next track.
  • Sound Modes: Switch between Balanced, Treble Boost, and Bass Boost modes by pressing the PAIRING button.
    • Balanced mode: BLUE state indicator blinks once every 10 seconds.
    • Treble Boost mode: BLUE state indicator blinks twice every 10 seconds.
    • Bass Boost mode: BLUE state indicator blinks thrice every 10 seconds.
  • Phone Calls:
    • Answer a call: Press PLAY/PAUSE during an incoming call.
    • End a call: Press PLAY/PAUSE when on a call.
    • Reject a call: Press and hold PLAY/PAUSE for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
  • Voice Assistant: Press and hold the LIGHT button for 2 seconds.
  • TWS Pairing: Double-press the PAIRING button to enter/exit True Wireless Stereo (TWS) pairing mode.
  • LED Modes: Press the LIGHT button to switch between LED modes or turn off LEDs.
  • Input Switching: Press the POWER button (when the speaker is on) to switch between wireless, USB, and AUX inputs.
  • Power Bank Feature:
    • Enable (from off state): Double-press the POWER button.
    • Disable (from off state): Press the POWER button when the power bank feature is enabled.
  • Disconnect: Press and hold the PAIRING button for 2 seconds.
  • Factory Reset: Simultaneously press and hold the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons for 3 seconds.
  • Sound Prompts: Simultaneously press and hold the POWER and PAIRING buttons for 1.5 seconds to turn sound prompts on/off.

Usage Features:

  • Wireless Pairing:
    1. Ensure the speaker is charged and no 3.5mm audio cable or USB flash drive is plugged in.
    2. Turn on the speaker by pressing and holding the POWER button for 3 seconds. The status indicator will flash BLUE, indicating pairing mode.
    3. Activate wireless communication on your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop).
    4. Select "TREBLAB HD-Max" from the available devices list within 3 feet / 1 meter.
    5. If prompted, enter passcode 0000.
    6. Once paired, the LED will stop flashing and stay BLUE.
  • Re-connecting: The speaker automatically connects to the last paired device. It can remember up to 8 recently paired devices.
  • True Wireless Stereo (TWS) - Pairing Two Speakers:
    1. Turn on both speakers; ensure neither is connected to any device (status indicators should blink BLUE). To disconnect, press and hold PAIRING for 2 seconds.
    2. Select one speaker as Primary and double-press its PAIRING button. Its TWS indicator will blink BLUE.
    3. Place Primary and Secondary speakers near each other (within 3 feet / 1 meter). The Secondary speaker will connect to the Primary automatically, and TWS indicators on both will be steady BLUE.
    4. Pair the Primary speaker with your device.
    5. To interrupt TWS, double-press the PAIRING button on either speaker.
  • 3.5mm Audio Cable Connection:
    1. Turn on the speaker.
    2. Plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the speaker's 3.5mm cable port (under the rubber cover) and the other end into your device's 3.5mm jack.
    3. The status indicator will be steady BLUE.
    4. On-device control for NEXT, PREVIOUS, PAUSE, and phone calls is not supported in this mode; use your smart device for adjustments.
  • USB Mode:
    1. Copy music (up to 512GB) to a USB flash drive.
    2. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB-A port on the back of the speaker (under the rubber cover).
    3. The state indicator will turn BLUE.
    4. Press PLAY/PAUSE to start playback.
    5. Playlist is arranged by song addition date (older tracks play first).
  • Power Bank Mode:
    1. Connect your device's charging cable to the USB-A port on the speaker (under the rubber cover).
    2. If the speaker is off, double-press POWER to start charging. If on, charging starts instantly.
    3. To disable (from off state), press POWER.
    4. Note: There is no LED indication when the smart device is fully charged; monitor your device's battery indicator.

Maintenance Features:

  • Charging:
    1. When the battery is low, you will hear a sound signal.
    2. Plug the supplied Type-C cable into the speaker's charging port and the other end into a wall adapter or laptop USB port.
    3. Charging indicators will flash slowly, showing the current battery level.
    4. Unplug the HD-Max from the charging cable and power source when not in use.
    5. Fully charge the speaker at least twice a month to maintain battery life, as unused batteries lose charge over time.
  • Battery Level Indication (LEDs):
    • 0-25% charge: One LED ON (flashing during charging or power bank mode).
    • 25-50% charge: Two LEDs ON (flashing during charging or power bank mode).
    • 50-75% charge: Three LEDs ON (flashing during charging or power bank mode).
    • 75-100% charge: Four LEDs ON (flashing during charging or power bank mode).
  • Safety Rules:
    • Do not disassemble or modify the speaker. This voids the warranty and can cause malfunction.
    • Avoid getting the device wet, as liquids can cause serious damage and void the warranty.
    • Ensure the speaker is completely dry before charging.
    • Clean only with a dry cloth.
    • Avoid exposing to extreme temperatures (below 37°F/3°C or above 112°F/45°C) to prevent component deformation and reduced battery life.
    • Do not place LED lights close to human or animal eyes.

Troubleshooting:

  • Not powering on: Ensure fully charged (charge for 2 hours if necessary). Press and hold POWER for 3 seconds.
  • Not pairing:
    • Ensure no 3.5mm audio cable or USB flash drive is plugged in.
    • Ensure speaker is not paired with another device.
    • Simultaneously press and hold VOLUME + and VOLUME - for 3 seconds to clear previously paired devices, then re-pair.
    • Alternatively, disconnect from your device and remove HD-Max from its pairing list, then try again.
  • Not finding a wireless driver on your laptop: Ensure your laptop supports wireless connections. If not, you may need an external wireless USB adapter; consult your laptop manufacturer.
  • Frequent disconnection and noise:
    • Ensure the distance between your device and speaker is less than 30 feet/10 meters.
    • Ensure nothing is blocking the signal.
    • Check if the speaker is running out of power.
