BACKWASHING

Water ltration takes place through a sand lter connected to
the recirculation pump.
Cleaning the sand lter is essential because it retains polluting
materials like hair or leaves and sediment if the minipool is
installed outdoors.
The best cleaning is achieved with a backwash, i.e., with a
jet of clean water from the bottom of the lter so that the dirt
can ow into the drain.
The cycle lasts 20 minutes.
In Treesse minipools backwashing is automatic, running
automatically every 48 hours of minipool use, but can be
forced manually by pressing:

backwashing in progress is indicated by the
LED

backwashing in progress is indicated by the
appearance of the word "FLT" on the display
Backwashing disables:
• The recirculation pump
• The heater
• The ozonator
A backwash cycle can be interrupted only by turning off the
power switch of the minipool.
It is recommended to change the sand every year
(see page 30).

Automatic functions
Heater
The heater is automatically activated when the water
temperature in the minipool is one degree lower than the
value set with the control panel.
If not already active, the recirculation pump is automatically
activated.

Ozonator
The ozonator is activated by the circulation pump and turns
off automatically during the WHIRLPOOL function.
When the ozonator is operating the LED is active (white
keypad).
