NON-USE OF THE MINIPOOL
FOR PROLONGED PERIODS
In case of prolonged inactivity or at the end of the summer
season it is good to carry out some simple operations
that preserve the minipool during inactivity.
CLOSING THE MINIPOOL

Empty the sand lter and dispose of it following the
current regulations in the country of use (see page
30).

Completely empty the minipool (see page 32).

Disconnect the minipool power switch.

Close the water supply gate valve.

Empty the pipes by opening the drainage valves.

Use a soft cloth for cleaning, moistened with a
specic product for stratied resin minipools.

Do not use garden hoses for rinsing so as not to
ll the plumbing circuit with water again.

Dry the minipool with deerskin and protect it with
the optional cover.
RESTARTING THE MINIPOOL AFTER PROLONGED
INACTIVITY
• Perform a rapid cleaning of the minipool using a bit
of water and a detergent for acrylic surfaces. Do not
use cloths or cleaners that are abrasive, aggressive or
that contain solvents because they could irreparably
damage the surface of the minipool.
• Reopen the gate valve for the water supply and, for
outdoor installations, close the drainage valves.
• Check the parameters (hardness, pH, alkalinity) of the
water that will be added. If the values are not optimal,
after lling add specic products (see page 22).
• Fill the minipool again and ll the sand lter (see page
30 - page 33).
To preserve the surfaces it is recommended to apply wax
specic for minipools in layered resin during periods of
inactivity or at the beginning of the season. For methods
of use carefully follow the product's instructions.
