27. Fit the crankshaft locking pin plug and tighten to 33 Nm.
1. Locking pin plug
NOTICE
After fitting to the engine, the hydraulic tensioner will be empty of engine oil. After
starting the engine, the camshaft drive chain and tensioner blade will be noisy until full
pressure is felt at the tensioner plunger. This could take up to 5 seconds.
Perform the following operations:
• Plenum - Installation (All Markets Except US) or Plenum - Installation (US
Markets Only)
• Clutch Cover - Installation
• Fuel Tank - Installation
• Battery - Installation
• Seat - Installation
