Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the
motorcycle.
Perform the following operations:
• Seat - Removal
• Battery - Removal
• Fuel Tank - Removal
• Left hand Side Panels - Removal
• Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor - Removal
• Remove the air intake runner Air Filter - Renew
1. Release the fixings in the sequence shown and remove the plenum cover, remove and
discard the plenum seal.
