Maintenance and Adjustment
Headlight Vertical Adjustment
1. Vertical beam adjuster
Switch the headlight low beam on.
Remove the adjuster cover.
Loosen the clamp bolt sufficient to allow
restricted movement of the headlight.
Adjust the position of the headlight to give
the required beam setting.
Tighten the clamp bolt to 80lbf in (9 Nm).
Re-check the headlight beam setting.
Switch the headlight off when the beam
setting is satisfactorily set.
Headlight Horizontal Adjustment
1. Horizontal beam adjuster
2. Headlight mounting bracket
Switch the headlight low beam on.
Loosen the headlight mounting bracket
fixing.
Adjust the horizontal position of the headlight
and mounting bracket to give the required
beam setting.
Tighten the headlight mounting bracket
fixing to 20 lbf ft (27 Nm).
Re-check the headlight beam settings.
Switch the headlight off when the beam
setting is satisfactorily set.
