GENERAL SPECIFICATION
VALVE TIMING. [
With valve-rocker clearance set at 0.0165" (0.42 mm.)].
Inlet and exhaust valves to be equally open at T.D.C. on the exhaust
stroke.
VALVE-ROCKER CLEARANCES (see page 31).
IGNITION TIMING (see page 31).
Set to fire at 4° before top dead centre (distributor contact points just
opening). As the advance is fully automatic, the setting is at full retard.
Contact breaker gap should be set at 0.015" (0.4 mm.).
