What to do if the red indicator light glows and the alarm sounds on my Trojan Technologies Water Filtration System?
    • B
      Bryan Sims PhDAug 14, 2025
If the red indicator light is on and the alarm is sounding, it indicates a problem with the lamp. Here's what you can do: * Check the lamp for continuity across the pins. If there is no continuity, replace the lamp. * If the Elapsed Time Meter reads 12 or more, replace the lamp. * If the alarm postpone button has been pressed, reset the Elapsed Time Meter. * Check for lamp continuity or if the Elapsed Time Meter reading is 12 or more. Replace lamp if it's open.

Why does the breaker repeatedly trip with my Trojan Technologies Water Filtration System?
    • R
      riggsedwardAug 17, 2025
A repeatedly tripping breaker can be due to a couple of reasons: * The lamp harness may be wet. If so, clean and dry the lamp harness and check the unit for leaks. * There might be a short circuit in the electrical assembly. If this is the case, you should replace the power supply.

What to do if I see a leak from the reactor area of my Trojan Technologies Water Filtration System?
    • H
      hoffmancarolAug 21, 2025
If you notice a leak from the reactor area, consider these potential causes and solutions: 1. Condensation might be forming on the cold reactor. Try controlling the humidity, relocating the unit, or insulating the reactor. 2. The O-ring at the sleeve bolt could be damaged, deteriorated, or incorrectly installed. Inspect it and replace if needed. 3. The sleeve bolt may not be properly installed. Tighten the sleeve nut finger-tight, then give it an additional 1/5 turn. 4. The O-ring at the UV sensor might be damaged, deteriorated, or incorrectly installed. Inspect and replace it if defective.
