The Trojan Concept 510 is an exercise bike designed for home use, offering a convenient way to improve physical and mental health through regular exercise. It features a Dyno Kinetic Energy (DNETIK) system, which uses the principles of kinetic energy generated during pedaling to power the console via rechargeable batteries. This eliminates the need for external power sources or disposable batteries, making it eco-friendly and flexible in placement within the home.
Function Description:
The Concept 510 exercise bike provides a full-body workout, primarily targeting the lower body muscle groups while conditioning the circulatory system and offering aerobic benefits. The console offers 12 preset workout programs (P2-P10), a manual program (P1), and two heart rate control programs (P11-P12).
Console Functions:
- PROGRAM: Displays the selected program (P1-P12).
- TIME: Counts up from 1 second to 99:59 minutes or counts down from a preset value.
- SPEED: Shows current speed from 0.0 to 99.9 km/h.
- DISTANCE: Displays distance from 0.0 to 999.9 km.
- CALORIE: Estimates calorie consumption from 0.0 to 999.9 Kcal. This is an estimate for an average user and should be used for comparison between workouts.
- AGE/TARGET H.R.: Used in Heart Rate Control Programs (P11 or P12) to input age, which affects the target heart rate calculation.
- HEART RATE: Displays heart rate in beats per minute (40-240 bpm) when grasping the Pulse Sensors on the handrail. The heart symbol flashes when a heart rate is detected. If no reading is obtained for 60 seconds, the circuit turns off.
- PROGRAM BUTTONS: Twelve buttons for selecting preset workout programs.
- + /UP: Increases setting values or workload level.
- - /DOWN: Decreases setting values or workload level.
- ENTER: Selects values for various settings.
- START/STOP: Starts or stops the selected program. Holding for four seconds resets all function values to zero.
Program Descriptions:
- Preset Programs (P2-P10): Automatic programs with profiles like Rolling, Valley, Fat Burn, Ramp, Fitness, Random, Flat, and Interval. Workload levels can be adjusted using the "+/-" buttons.
- Heart Rate Control Programs (P11-P12): Automatically adjust workload to keep the user's pulse within a target heart rate zone (plus or minus 5 beats per minute of the target heart rate), determined by age and program selection.
- Manual Program (P1): Allows full manual control of the workload using the "+/-" buttons.
