the navigation lights are in good working order. The
navigation lights will let other boaters see the direction
your craft is traveling and its approximate length. When
operating in reduced visibility or at night it is only prudent
to slow the boats speed and keep a “proper lookout.
It is important that you understand navigation lights and
their usage for your safety and the safety of others. The
navigation lights are controlled by pressing the NAV/ANC
switch located on the instrument panel.
Bilge Pump
Your boat is equipped
with an 1100 GPH
(4164 LPH) electric
bilge pump. It is located
in the bilge and can
be accessed through
the motorwell hatch.
The switch for bilge pump operation is located on the
instrument panel.
The bilge pump is wired directly to the
battery.
Be sure the bilge pump oat switch is clear of
debris to prevent continuous operation and
subsequent discharge of the battery.
NOTICE
Maintenance
Frequently inspect the area under the float switch to
ensure it is free from debris and gummy bilge oil. To clean,
soak in heavy duty bilge cleaner for 10 minutes, agitating
several times. Check for unrestricted operation of the
float. Repeat the cleaning procedure if necessary.
Inspect the bilge pump intakes and keep them free of
dirt or material which may impede the flow of water
through the pump.
To clean the pump strainer, depress the lock tabs on both
sides of the pump and lift the pump motor.
If water does not come out of discharge hose:
1. Remove the motor module to see if the
impeller rotates with the power on.
2. Remove any debris that may have
accumulated in the nozzle section or strainer
base.
3. Check hose and connection on hull side for
debris and proper connections.
