Activate the choke by placing the throttle control in the CHOKE position. 5. Inspect the spark plug; clean, adjust the gap, or replace it if necessary. 6. Check for blown fuses and replace them. 7. If the engine is flooded, crank it with the throttle in the FAST position. 8. Be sure parking brake is engaged. 9. Confirm that the throttle control lever is in the FAST position.
