4.4.1 Olive screw connection
Observe the following points during installation:

Establish all cutting ring screw connections according to the
corresponding regulations for the installation of cutting ring screw
connections (egENISO8434-1, DIN EN 1949)

Make sure that the olive and the tapered seal are in perfect
condition

Lay gas pipes without tension so that, once the gas pipe has been
installed, no force is being exerted on the gas pressure regulator

Use appropriate protection (soft inserts, rubber bushings,
bulkhead unions) to prevent gas pipes chafing at fastening and
connection points

Tighten cutting ring screw connections for 8mm gas pipes with a
17mm spanner

Tighten cutting ring screw connections for 10mm gas pipes with
a 19mm spanner

Use a second 20mm spanner to hold the cutting ring screw
connection in place

If necessary, the reducer union RST10xRVS8 can be used to
connect a 8mm gas pipe to a 10mm regulator outlet
4.4.2 Threaded union
Only use seals that are in perfect condition Never use self-made
seals; instead, only use Truma original spare parts
Use the included screw aid to attach and remove the high-pres-
sure hose or the gas filter* The screw aid guarantees the required
tightening torque Damage to the union or the seal is therefore
prevented
4.4.3 Installing

Before installing the gas pressure regulator, take note of the year
of construction for the test certificate The CE test number is listed
in the technical data in the operating instructions
