away from the metal) and strong electromagnetic field interference.

4. According to design data or experience, the rebar direction is
determined. If rebar direction is not determined, horizontal &
longitudinal direction and position of grid pattern rebar are detected
according to detection method of rebar.
5. The trolley and probe are placed on the surface of detected body
and the probe is moved at uniform speed in parallel with detected
rebar. The speed should be less than 20mm/s. According to shown
on the right upper corner, firstly, longitudinal rebar of grid pattern is
detected. Detected point should select the position among crossing
points of grid pattern horizontal rebar to avoid the influence on
detected longitudinal rebar by grid pattern horizontal rebar. The trolley
held by hand is moved horizontally from the left to the right (the
speed is not more than 20mm/s). One black block shown on the screen
is moved horizontally from the left to the right. After hearing the
alarm, it indicates there is rebar under the probe and rebar is showed
on the screen in the formation of being vertical to X-axis. At the same
