4. Post FX
After defining your foundation tone via the TSM™ AMPLIFIER and DynIR™ Engine panes, OPUS
provides you with a suite of Post FX to further refine your OPUS preset. The following Post FX
components are available:
4.1 EQ
OPUS’ EQ features 3 modes of operation: GUITAR, BASS and CUSTOM. The GUITAR and BASS modes
provide 5-band EQs with a gain range of -20dB to +20dB. The CUSTOM mode is a fully-customisable
5-band semi-parametric EQ complete with high-pass and low-pass filters.
Guitar mode: 120Hz, 360Hz, 800Hz, 2000Hz, 6000Hz (centre frequency of each band from the lower
to the highest).
Bass mode: 50Hz, 120Hz, 360Hz, 800Hz, 4000Hz (centre frequency of each band, from the lowest to
the highest)
Custom mode: The bands are structured as follows:
Low Cut: low cut, 10 - 500Hz (12 dB per octave slope)
Low: low shelf, 60 - 240Hz, +/-20dB
LMid: peak, 180 - 720Hz, +/-20dB
Mid: peak, 400 - 1600Hz, +/-20dB
HMid: peak, 1 - 4kHz, +/-20dB
High: peak, 3 - 12kHz, +/-20dB
4.2 Enhancer
OPUS’ ENHANCER provides you with a combination of dynamic and tone-shaping tools specifically
tailored for your guitar and/or bass.
