14. Recheck all the hose connections for tightness. Ensure
that hoses are not rubbing against any sharp metal
surfaces.
15. Install the battery connector to the proper terminals.
Start with the positive connector, followed by the
negative connector.
16. Remove the four bolts and the black plug beside the
battery (Figure 11).

17. Loosely install the hood stop adjuster plate (supplied
with the Honda engine) to the QuickPass using the
four bolts you just removed. Bring the hood into the
covering position, line up the male and female ends,
and tighten (Figure 12).
NOTE – Make side-to-side adjustments by adjusting the
plug on the engine cover.
