• PTO switch is on「ON」position
• Defective safety switch
• Battery discharged
• Loose terminal
• Faulty key switch
• Defective start motor
• Set PTO switch into「OFF」position
• Have it repaired or replaced by workshop
• Charge battery
• Check for looseness and corrosion
Clean, tighten and apply grease

The start motor runs, but its speed
cannot be increased
• Weak battery
