DO - Latch the brake pedals together
when driving on a highway.
DO - Keep draft control lever fully down
when not in use.
DO - Keep the radiator filled with clean
water and in cold weather use anti-
freeze mixture.
Drain the system only in an
emergency and fill before starting
the engine.
DO - Ensure that the transmission is in
neutral before starting the engine.
DO - Keep all fuel in clean storage and
use a filter when filling the tank.
DO - Attend to minor adjustments and
repairs as soon as necessity is
apparent.
DO - Allow the engine to cool before
removing the radiator filler cap
and adding water, remove the
radiator cap slowly.
DO - Shift into low gear when driving
down steeps hills.
DOs FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE
DO - Ensure that safety shields are in
place and in good condition.
DO - Read all operating instructions
before commencing to operate
tractor.
DO - Carry out all maintenance tasks
without fail.
DO - Keep the air cleaner clean.
DO - Ensure that the correct grade of
lubricating oils is used and that
they are replenished and changed
at the recommended intervals.
DO - Fit new sealing rings when the filter
elements are changed.
DO - Watch the oil pressure gauge or
warning light and investigate any
abnormality immediately.
