The brake may only be released when the truck is
standing still on clean, level and solid ground.

Starting the truck
1) Connect the battery plug.
2) Turn the key.

1) Start the truck in accordance with Starting the truck page
36.
2) Release the parking brake by moving the tiller arm
downwards (but not to the bottom position).
NOTE!
For trucks with fixed/protected platforms, the
driver must stand on the platform to be able to
use any of the hydraulic functions.
3) The truck begins to move when the lever on the operating
handle is pushed forwards/backwards. The further the
speed control is moved the faster the truck will move.
4) There are several ways to brake the truck:
• Brake the truck by reversing, i.e. changing the
direction of travel.
