UNPACKING

Check carton for transit damage. Consult dealer if damaged before operating.

VALVE FITTING

Fit valves into sockets following diagrams for correct orientation. Use gentle pressure, never force.

PLACEMENT

Place unit on stable surface, away from children/pets. Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid high temperatures.

CONNECTING INPUTS AND OUTPUTS

Connect sources via RCA interconnects. Ensure equipment is off. Observe correct speaker phase for connections.

CONNECTION TO MAINS

Verify local power supply voltage matches unit's requirement before connecting the mains cable. Check fuse rating.

OPERATION

Unit has a 5-second standby after switching on. Outputs enabled after valve warm-up. Subwoofer output enabled after 60s.

VOLUME CONTROL

Set volume to minimum before switching on. Adjust volume after warm-up using front panel or remote handset.

INPUT SELECTION

Select input using front panel or remote control. Active input is indicated by a lit LED on the front panel.

REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS

Control volume and input selection via IR remote handset. Follow pairing instructions for the wood remote.

SWITCHING OFF THE UNIT

Wait approx. 5 minutes after switching off before switching on again to allow valves to cool down.

SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE

GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

Do not open amplifier (high voltages). Avoid spills. Insert mains plug with unit off. Remove plug for long periods.

CLEANING THE AMPLIFIER

Clean only when switched off and valves are cold. Use a soft dry cloth. Do not use solvents or rub hard.

VALVE REPLACEMENT

Replace valves only when cold and unit is off. Use same type, preferably matched pairs. Avoid shocks and vibration.
