Ref. 1140/12 door phone has the same electric features as the basic
door phone; it is provided with 10 buttons for intercom service (in
addition to the door lock release button).
• A buzzer, used to differentiate the call coming from the door unit
fromtheonecomingfromintercomdevices.
• StandardringtonevolumeadjustmentandMutefunction.TheMute
functionisindicatedbyaredag,thatcomesoutfromtherightside
of the cover.
The call buttons can command a load with 500mA current
consumption max.

Ref. 1140/12 door phone is already equipped with a buzzer for
differentiated call (terminal pins +/~ and -/~).
In case of installation in systems with relay devices Ref. 788/51
and Ref. 788/54 NO resistors must be installed on the terminal
pins. This 270Ω 1/2W resistor is already embedded in the
buzzer circuit.

Connection jumper between terminal pins 6-10, cut in case of
intercom system.
The jumper P1 short-circuits a 1N4007 diode, so in intercom
systems no external diodes are needed.

Connection jumper between terminal pins 10 and -/~; cut to
separate the buzzer ground from the door phone ground.

To remove the cover of the door phone, insert the tip of a screwdriver
intheareaindicatedandapplypressure.Extractthecoverrotatingthis
on the upper tabs.
Thedoorphonecanbettedonthewallusingthedifferentholeson
thebaseandthespecialplugsandscrewsprovidedwitheachset.
