Configuring your RAP Overview
Please insure all POE and Ethernet cabling is correctly configured before proceeding.
Basic RAP Configuration Setup
If your RAP is not powered on, please do so.
1. The default IP address for access and configuration of the RAP is 192.168.10.1.
a. You MUST configure the computer you will be utilizing to configure the RAP to have a static IP address
within the same addressing schema of the RAP to communicate with the unit
i. i.e., 192.168.10.100 etc.
Note: Once the RAP has been fully configured to match your OWN internal networking addressing you can return
the computer used to access the initial RAP configuration to your preferred addressing scheme.
2. You can connect to the RAP either wirelessly, or by utilizing a RJ45 cable connected to one of the open Ethernet
LAN ports located on the side of the RAP.
3. Open a web browser and enter https://192.168.10.1 in the web browser's address field.
