Safety
Before a Vahterus heat exchanger can be put into operation, the user must be sure that:
¬ Sucient safety valves have been installed and adequate safety measurements
have been taken into account.
¬ The plate pack or plate insert of an openable unit is never pressurised when outside the
shell.
¬ Sucientmeasureshavebeentakentopreventpossiblecorrosionofthepressure
vessel, particularly under the insulation.
