5.4 Changing Node ID from NI-FBUS
If you need to change the Fieldbus Node ID address then you should do it now.
Click on ‘ValControls’ in the tree window.
In the menu select ‘ValControls”.
Choose ‘Set Address’.
Press ‘Yes’ if you get a warning
Now you can set the Address in between 17 36 and 223 - 247
5.5 Modifying Device Tag name
If the default tag names “ValControls” conflicts with the other tag names in the network, they can
be modified with the NI-FBUS tool.
5.6 Modifying Block Tags names
If the default tag names “AI” .. “AO” conflicts with the other tag names in the network, they can be
modified with the NI-FBUS tool.
5.7 Factory Reset of the device.
Do not make a factory reset of the device, since it will reset all parameters in the MTB transducer
block and all TAG names and Node ID address.
