3.4 Circulating pump
The externally arranged circulating pump ensures coolant
transport within the vehicle and/or heater circulation
system.
Depending on the application, the circulating pump is swit-
ched on via the control device or directly via the vehicle
electrical system and operated during the entire heater
operation duration.
An external control (UPFA - circulation pumps external
control) of the circulation pumps independent of the
heater operation is possible.

3.5 Heated fuel filter
The integrated filter heating is switched on at a fuel tem-
perature of ≤ 0.5 ± 2.5 °C and off at ≥ 5.5 ± 2.5 °C by a
temperature switch.When the heater is operated at low
temperatures, depending on fuel used a heated fuel filter
must be installed. See Technical Updates (TI) on the
