5.5.5 Error symptom "Flame guard defective"
The flameguard cannot be replaced. If necessary the
control device is to be replaced.
5.5.6 Error symptoms "Temperature sensor /
overheating protection defective" and
"Overheating"
Is the temperature sensor plug,
contacts and cables OK?
Is the temperature sensor OK?
Is the proper temperature sensor
installed (confusion hazard with the
Thermo E temperature sensor
possible)?
Is sufficient cooling and coolant flow
ensured?
Are all shut-off devices opened?
Is the cooling system leak-tight,
completely filled and bled?
Is a circulating pump connected and
the direction of rotation of the
circulating pump correct?
Is the coolant cold-resistant?
Replace control device.
Correct error and/or replace the
component.
