Overview

The Vallox 75/95 is a ventilation unit designed for dwelling-specific ventilation in detached houses, terraced houses, and blocks of flats. It provides supply and extract air ventilation with heat recovery, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate.

Function Description:

The core function of the Vallox 75/95 is to manage air exchange within a dwelling while recovering heat from the outgoing air. This is achieved through a plate heat exchanger with an approximate efficiency of 60%. The unit operates silently and incorporates good filtering to ensure clean incoming air. For summer ventilation, an in-built heat recovery bypass is included, allowing the unit to bypass the heat exchanger when cooling is desired. The unit offers versatile control options, including separate control centers and integration with cooker hoods. A service switch is standard for ease of maintenance. All models are available in R and L configurations to suit different installation requirements.

    • Fan speed *4 (230V): 228 W

Usage Features:

  • Installation: The unit can be ceiling-mounted using an optional easy-to-use ceiling mounting plate (patent pending) or wall-mounted. For ceiling mounting, the plate is fixed with M8 thread bars, ensuring it can support the unit's weight (approx. 40 kg) and is level. Wall mounting accessories are included, but screws are not. When wall mounting, it's important to consider the wall construction to minimize acoustic disturbance, avoiding hollow or echoing dividing walls, especially in bedrooms.
  • Control Methods:
    • Separate Control Centre 1992A 0.85 A: Features 4-step adjustment and an ON/OFF switch.
    • Separate Control Centre 1992A EK 0.85 A: Offers a separate 4-step adjustment switch and an ON/OFF switch.
    • Cooker Hood X-Line PTX/PTXP(A) 500/600 0.85 A: Includes a washable grease filter, a bright fluorescent lamp, and an outlet collar with a rubber ring.
    • Remote Monitoring Centre Vallox 1993 A: Provides ON/OFF control, operating status data for remote monitoring, and a transformer with eight voltage options (two + one preselected). It can be controlled with a timer or through remote monitoring.
  • Heat Recovery Bypass: In winter, the heat recovery cell recovers heat from outgoing air. In summer, an in-built damper bypasses the cell, preventing airflow through it and activating heat recovery bypass for cooling.
  • Post-heating: Vallox 75/95 units feature a 500 W post-heating radiator (electric or water). The supply air temperature is adjusted by a thermostat regulator inside the unit, with a range of 0...25°C.
  • Water Radiator (VKL model): VKL models include a water radiator with a self-actuated thermostat valve for temperature adjustment. A defrost thermostat prevents freezing by stopping the unit and closing one-way dampers if the water radiator temperature drops below a setpoint. The unit restarts automatically once the freezing risk passes. For detached houses, a separate heating circuit with a water-glycol mixture is recommended to prevent freezing.
  • Condensing Water Connections: The condensing water pipe must have a downward slope and should never be connected directly to the sewer. Various connection examples are provided, including to a floor drain (which may generate sound if the water seal dries), to a wash basin water seal, or directly to a floor drain without a water seal if the pipe slope is steep enough. The Vallox water seal "SILENT" non-return valve is available to prevent gurgling.

Maintenance Features:

  • Filter Replacement: The unit uses G3+F7 filters for supply air and G3 filters for extract air, which should be regularly checked and replaced to maintain air quality and unit efficiency.
  • Thermostat Sensor Detachment: The thermostat sensor can be detached by turning its sleeve in the indicated direction. Reattachment involves turning the sleeve to lock the claws in the open position, ensuring the green indicator dot is visible, and pushing the sensor to the valve body.
  • Self-actuated One-way Damper Detachment: The one-way damper (vacuum damper), used in VKL models, can be detached by placing its hook under the fastening collar of the fan, pushing it downwards until the steering edges go inside the rubber collar, and then pushing the front edge of the collar. Reattachment follows the reverse steps.
  • Service Switch: A standard service switch is included for easy maintenance and safe operation.
  • Overheat Protector: The electric radiator has an overheat protector (T2) that triggers and stops power supply if the temperature exceeds +80°C. It is reset manually.
  • HR Antifreezing Thermostat: The heat recovery cell has an antifreezing thermostat (T4) that stops the supply air fan if there's a risk of freezing in the HR cell. The fan restarts automatically once the risk passes. The threshold temperature can be set at the thermostat T4.
