Glass Cleaning: The ceramic glass windows can accumulate mineral deposits. Regular cleaning with an emulsion-type cleaner and a soft damp cloth is recommended to prevent etching. Abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners should not be used. The glass must be cool before cleaning.
Other Parts Cleaning: Steel trims can be cleaned with mild soap and warm water. Barrier screens, firebox ceramic logs/rocks, and walls can be dusted with a soft brush.
Window Removal/Refitting: Detailed instructions are provided for removing the window for cleaning and refitting it, emphasizing safety precautions to ensure correct installation and sealing to prevent carbon monoxide leaks and damage.
